It's been a long time...

Sometimes life gets busy and mommies get distracted.  That has certainly happened to me!  So, let's just sum up the past few months with some picture updates!
In June we had Father's Day and a visit to the Dallas Zoo with Mimi and Poppy.

In July we celebrated Fourth of July with Mimi, Poppy, and Aunt Holly.  Ellie took swimming lessons!  We took lots of splash pad and park trips with friends!  It was wonderful to have one of my best friends come visit for a week too!

In August, Ellie started feeding herself with a spoon and she can stack up to seven blocks!  Ellie was invited to her first birthday party.  We spent lots of time playing in our "poo (pool)" in the backyard!  We aslo visited the Waco Zoo with Kaitlyn and Hadley!

I could probably write an entire blog post about each of these pictures.  But, somehow I just couldn't find the time!  Since I am about to have a bit more time on my hands when Ellie starts Mother's Day Out, I would really like to get back to blogging on a regular basis.  It is almost therapeutic for me to write out my thoughts and memories of life!
