Fabulous Fall Day!!

We had such a fun day enjoying the nice weather today!  Ellie and I started out the morning by going on a walk with one of the neighbors and her little boy.  It was so nice to have another adult to talk to, as well as another mommy!  I am looking forward to lots of walks and playdates with them!
When we came home, Andrew made a scrumptious breakfast.  Then, he and I sat out back with Bailey while we drank coffee and chatted about our life.  So perfect!
We decided that it was too nice to not be outside.  So, we took Ellie to the park for the first time!  She LOVED swinging and going down the slide.  Getting out together as a family to do something different is always exciting for me.  It makes me think about all the fun memories we are going to have together.

Then, the nice weather encouraged me to bake some cookies (thank-you pinterest for the recipe).
Honestly, it seems like such a simple day, but it was fabulous.


Also, Andrew and I looked through some of Ellie's newborn videos last night.  Oh my goodness...we were both tearing up!  We used to video her turning her head from one side to the other or simply holding her head up for extended periods of time.  I replayed her "newborn noises" so many times...they were just too cute!  Wow!
